UV absorbers

Because the Sun's rays contains large amounts of harmful ultraviolet light colored objects, the wavelengths around 290-460 NM, these harmful ultraviolet light through chemical oxidation-reduction (Redox reaction) so that the color down to fade.


Prevents harmful ultraviolet light to color method of the destruction of both physical and chemical.

UV absorbers should satisfy the following conditions


① to strongly absorb UV light (especially wavelength 290-400nm);

⑧ cheap and easy to get;


Insoluble, or difficult to dissolve in water.


Chemical structure of UV absorbers can be divided into the following categories: salicylic acid phenyl ester, ketone, benzo-triazole class, triazine, replacing acrylonitrile and hindered amine.
