UV absorber UV-O ingredients: dihydroxy diphenyl ketone

UV absorber UV-O dimmed acicular Crystal or white powder. Water < 0.5%. Ash < 0.5%. Melting point 136~149℃. Soluble in acetone, methyl ethyl ketone, methanol, ethanol, dioxane, pyridine-n-methyl ketone and ethyl acetate, and very difficult to dissolve in water, benzene and heptane. This product is in partial solubility in the solvent (solvent-g/100ml, 25 ℃) acetone 50, p-1, >50 alcohol, <0.5 water, heptane < 0.5.

UV absorber UV-O suitable for PVC, polystyrene, unsaturated polyester, epoxy resins and cellulose resins, coatings and synthetic rubber, and so on. Maximum absorption wavelength range 280~340nm, General 0.1% 1%. But the light effects are not prominent.

Security considerations

UV-absorber UV-O in rats, the oral LD50 is 8.6g/kg weight, LD502.336mg/kg weight loss in mice. In 0.19, 0.60, 1.90g/kg dose not seen poison, two other groups of doses affected the development of laboratory animals, blood-phase changes.
